SPORT and BUSINESS

All I have ever done in my business life is use the skills, the traits and the mindset that I have used in sport, and for years I have been somewhat semi-apologetic that I have never had any formal business training.

But those days are gone!

The more I look at Sport, and of course enjoying the Olympics at the moment, the more I think that Business could learn so much from Sport.

When I looked at the Utility Warehouse business it certainly wasn’t the word ‘Utility’ that attracted me. It was when I looked at the business model that I saw so many similarities to sport – in particular – Teamwork, that resulted in me becoming a partner with Utility Warehouse.
